The Binghamton Advantage Program
The Binghamton Advantage Program is a joint program between Binghamton University and SUNY Broome, where students live on BU's campus, and attend classes at SUNY Broome. The "advantage" to the program is that students are able to matriculate seamlessly into BU subsequent to spending one academic year attending SUNY Broome, so long as they achieve a 3.0 GPA with 30 credits.

So is BAP the Right Path for You?
• Gain connections on both campuses - SUNY Broome has an amazing faculty with accomplished professors, some of whom even used to teach at BU!
• Live on Binghamton's campus and become part of the community! Run for hall government, volunteer for admissions, or join one of our hundreds of clubs!
• Begin your research career - many professors at SUNY Broome offer research courses in Psychology, Chemistry, and more! As a freshman BAP student, you can begin conducting credible research.
• Have a car on campus - freshman BAP students are permitted to have a car on Binghamton's campus (although one is not required to participate in the program)
• Meet your best friends - many people who go through the Binghamton Advantage Program find their best friends within their time at the program, and you'll all have something in common!
• Small class sizes - a lot of students are concerned about large lecture hall settings, but there's no need to worry about that at SUNY Broome, as most of their classes range from about 20-40 students, but can be as small as 5.
